TVS Crosses 10 Lakh EV Scooter Sales – iQube & Orbiter With Impressive Runs

TVS has emerged as the best-selling electric two-wheeler manufacturer in the country courtesy of good reception for the iqube and Orbiter

TVS Motor Company has achieved a major milestone in the electric two-wheeler space as cumulative retail sales of the iQube and Orbiter have crossed the 10 lakh mark. According to Vahan data recorded on June 11, 2026, total deliveries stood at 10,04,148 units. The company entered the electric scooter segment in January 2020 with the iQube and has since expanded its portfolio significantly.

The iQube remains the key part of TVS’s electric scooter business. Over the years, the model has evolved into a multi-variant lineup featuring battery packs ranging from around 2.2 kWh to over 5 kWh. Range figures extend beyond 150 km in higher trims while equipment comprises a touchscreen display, connected technology, navigation, voice assistance, fast charging capability, ride analytics and OTA updates.

The scooter has played a significant role in helping TVS expand across the country following its initial availability in select cities. The Orbiter has further consolidated the company’s presence by bringing a more unique design in a more affordable package with a range of around 115 km. Recently, its portfolio saw the inclusion of V1 trim and the arrival of the BaaS scheme.

While the 10 lakh milestone itself is significant, the pace at which TVS reached it tells an even bigger story. The first one lakh retail sales took more than three years after the iQube entered production. However, growth accelerated rapidly as the move from one lakh to two lakh units required only ten months while the three lakh milestone was achieved in April 2024.

The jump from three lakh to seven lakh cumulative sales was completed in only 17 months. Another notable achievement came between October and December 2025 when TVS moved from seven lakh to eight lakh units in just three months as both iQube and Orbiter began racking up high volumes. The latest one lakh sales were recorded in only 75 days between March 28 and June 10 with an average of 1,333 scooters every day.
